  • Asthma – Asthma is a condition that affects the lungs, making it hard to breathe freely.
  • Wheezing & coughing – Wheezing and coughing are two common allergy and asthma symptoms.
  • Shortness of breath – Shortness of breath, typically caused by narrowing of the airways in asthma, can make breathing difficult.
  • Chest Tightness – Chest tightness is a symptom of asthma that occurs when the airways tighten or fill with mucus.
  • Hay Fever – Hay fever (allergic rhinitis) is an allergic reaction toward one or more indoor or outdoor allergens, such as mold spores, grasses, dust mites, pet dander or pollen.
  • Hives – Hives are red- or skin-colored swollen welts on the skin that can be triggered by an allergen, such as insect stings, pollen or poison ivy.
  • Eczema – Eczema causes dry, itchy skin and rashes on the body, particularly on the face, hands, feet and inside the elbows. Although the cause of eczema is not known, food and environmental allergens may trigger outbreaks.
  • Food Allergies – Food allergies are triggered when your body’s immune system overreacts to a substance in certain foods, treating it as a dangerous enemy and sending chemicals to fight it.
  • Insect and Drug Allergies – Insect and drug allergies can present many of the same symptoms: swelling of the lips, tongue or throat; skin rashes or hives; trouble breathing; dizziness; stomach pain; vomiting; and diarrhea.
  • Sinusitis – Sinusitis, often triggered by allergies, is caused by inflamed sinuses.
  • Congestion – Congestion of the nose is one of the most bothersome of allergy symptoms, as it causes a runny or stuffy nose and difficulty breathing.
  • Post Nasal Drip – Post-nasal drip occurs when your body produces more mucus than normal, the excess running down the back of your throat. There are many causes of post nasal drip, including allergies, flu and sinusitis.
  • Headache – Headache is a pain anywhere on the head that can range from mild to severe, throbbing to aching, stabbing to dull.
  • Facial Pain – Facial pain is usually harmless, if a bit distracting and distressing, and is typically caused by headache, toothache or the sinus pressure of seasonal allergies.
  • Persistent Cough – Persistent cough is one that lasts for at least eight weeks. Although you might fear a more serious condition, the most common reason for a persistent cough is post-nasal drip from seasonal allergies and sinusitis.
  • Sore throat – Sore throat is any irritation to the throat, including pain and itchiness, and is a common allergy symptom.
